One of my weekly tasks at Isobar Hong Kong was to write copy for Marriott Bonvoy’s Facebook and Instagram. With a well-thought-out content plan, we kept engagement with travel lovers through descriptive writing and stunning photography. The formula for engagement was effective until Covid-19 hit and changed everything.

Covid-19 continues to have a massive impact on all travel-related industries. This, in turn, forced us to react. We stopped luring travelers to beautiful, unique experiences. Instead kept them engaged with #tillwetravelagain. Ultimately, as a brand, we wanted to send a clear message that we supported safe adventures and encouraged our fans to be hopeful.
